How to add and use Sub-jobs

Modified on Fri, 7 Jun at 12:31 PM

A Sub-job is a means of creating smaller projects in one overarching one for particularly complex opportunities/projects. For example, if you are managing a large project, you might want several smaller projects for reporting/management purposes.

Follow these steps to create a Sub-job

  1. Find your Job
  2. From the "Burger" menu in the upper right corner click "Add Sub-Job"

    OR:

  3. Click on the name of the Job.
  4. This will take you to the dashboard for that Job.
  5. Click on "Actions" and locate "Add Sub-Job" and click it.
  6. Fill in all the relevant information for the sub-job.
  7. Save.

How to use the Sub-Jobs:

  1. Once you have created a sub-job on the job dashboard, click on the "Include sub-jobs" toggle button for the sub-jobs to show on the dashboard

  2. These jobs are separate jobs in essence that are linked to the main job.
  3. Select "Sub-Opportunities/Jobs". You will see your sub-jobs listed there. Please click on the sub-job and it will open that job for you. You can then proceed and create tasks inside that sub-job as normal.
