Create tasks from a Cost Estimate

***Note***Before you can do this, you need to have your item types setup and have created a cost estimate.


Follow these steps:


  1. Click on Finance
  2. Click on Cost Estimates.
  3. Find the CE you want to use to create tasks for. (You may want to use the search filters).
  4. Hover over the Actions Menu(3 dots) on the right-hand side of the CE. (If you are using list view).
  5. Click on the option that is called "Generate Tasks for Cost Estimate".
  6. A message will pop up asking you to confirm that you want to create tasks from this particular CE.
  7. Click on confirm if this is the correct CE.
  8. All the line items on the CE will now be converted into tasks.
