Magnetic version 2.1 is released on January 19th 2024. Documentation of the new features and changes are found below.

 

  • New Dashboards
    • Profitability Dashboard
      The Profitability Dashboard provides a comprehensive and real-time overview of key financial metrics, enabling businesses to make informed decisions and optimise their financial performance.

    • Revenue Forecast Dashboard
      Track, analyse, and optimise your agency's financial health.Take charge of your agency's financial health the Revenue Forecast Dashboard. Keep a close eye on billings, monitor budgets for open projects, and factor in potential revenue from upcoming opportunities.

    • Pipeline Forecast Dashboard
      This dashboard provides an in-depth overview into your sales pipeline giving a detailed breakdown of your opportunities(deals) as they move through their respective stages.

  • Clean Up
    We've cleaned up and re-organised fields within various modals (windows) throughout Magnetic. This should make adding and viewing quicker, easier and reduce clutter.

    Here's a summary of sections that have been updated
    • Cleaned up the "Company" modal
    • Cleaned up the "Job" modal
    • Lane view tiles:
      • Increased colour height
      • Re-alignment of menu icon and the menu when it is expanded
      • Re-aligned probability indicator

    • Cleaned up the Company Settings page
    • Cleaned up Task list view
    • New table design
      We’ve updated the design on all table views to make it look more modern and less ‘Excel like’
  • Internationalisation
    • Added support to output Financial documents into different languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Danish and Portuguese) and set date/number formatting based on country/location.
    • Optimised the accounts edit/create pages design layout

  • Optimized the design of the Analytics dashboard menu
    We’ve made a design update to the list of dashboards to make it more visually appealing and to make it easier to find the dashboard you want.
  • Email Cost Estimate
    • Added a recipient auto-suggest feature. When you start typing, a dropdown of Magnetic contacts will appear that can be selected.
    • Include Electronic Approval Link: We’ve also made an adjustment so the To Recipients will be able to approve the Cost Estimate and the CC’d recipients will not. This will show in the email that is sent.

  • Team scheduler
    • Added the ability to exclude tracked time in the capacity calculations. With the option enabled, capacity will be fixed to each day for the duration of the task, irrespective of how much time is left to be tracked on a task.

  • Lane views:
    • Added the ability to filter by employee/user
      When selecting one or more employees from the the list, the view will update and only show the tasks associated to the employees selected.

  • Magnetic Worfklows/Zapier integration
    • Added support for Zapier Webhooks. This will allow users to use any Magnetic workflow trigger as a starting point when creating new zaps in Zapier.

  • Various bug fixes and stability improvements
