We have released a small feature update which improves/adds the following features


  1. Custom Fields on Tasks
    Custom fields are now available on tasks whichs allows you to add additional fields to your task create/edit window. Read more about how to use Custom Fields here

  2. Task display in scheduler
    You can now view tasks in the Team Scheduler. To do this, navigate to scheduler ->Gear cog icon->Show full Task


  3. Burger menu icon change
    The icon has been updated from the old "3 dot" style to more traditional burger menu icon


  4. Allocation remaining indicators when creating tasks
    When creating tasks, you can set the overall allocation hours on a task. As you assign your resources, the overall allocation remaining value will automatically reduce indicating the remains hours left for allocation. If you require, you can include already tracked time in the calculation by using the toggle.
    If you over-allocate the hours will be highlighted red, otherwise it will blue indicating you're still within the overall allocation


  5. Speech to text
    We now have speech to text support which can be used whenever you see the following icon:
    Populate jobs, tasks etc by just using your voice. Read more about speech to text here



  6. Complete as resource

    On the task pages, when marking a task as complete when you are a resource, it will mark your allocation as complete. 
    The overall task will remain open until all of the resources have completed their allocations OR the overall task is marked as complete by editing it.


  7. Minimized job dashboard view
    You can now switch between the dials or a more minimalistic view, which just shows figures, on the job dashboard. To do this select "Minimise Dashboard" on the dashboard view.  


  8. Leave cards on scheduler
    Leave cards will now appear on the scheduler irrespective of user permission. HR managers will be able to see the Leave Type.


Here are some other updates that have gone live the since the launch of 2.3

  1. MyActions now include a section for your Task Allocations
  2. Task create/bulk edit of tasks - you can now set the default allocation method to Evenly or First Available without needing the go into the "Adjust Allocation" screen
  3. Users now list alphabetically on the Team Scheduler
  4. Added Task and Allocation start/end dates to the Team Scheduler allocation card tooltip.
  5. When dragging from Unassigned section into the Team Scheduler, and allocating to a resource, the resource will become a watcher on the task.
